Bike Workshop and Servicing

$130 + parts: 

If you ride your bike regularly and want it performing its best, then we suggest booking in your bike for this level of work around 3-4 times a year at regular intervals, or a week or so prior to an anticipated ride.

• Wipe Down
• Tune gears
• Lube chain
• Brake alignment
• Frame wear check - We’ll visually inspect your bike for any damage, wear and tear and report accordingly
• Nut and bolt safety check - Tighten/re-torque 
• Headset check and reset accordingly
• Tyre pressure check and inflation
• Drivetrain wear check/chain check - report/replace accordingly
• Tyre wear and damage check - report/replace accordingly
• Brake pad and rotor check - report/replace accordingly
• Spoke tension tightened - wheels stay in bike
• Straighten derailleur hanger
• Test ride

$200 + parts: 

If it has been some time between servicing, a little more than a simple tune up may be needed. We suggest this level of work is completed 1-2 times a year to keep your bike running reliably, especially if you are about to embark on a bigger ride or riding holiday.

Includes all of Basic Service plus:

- Drop out fork for a headset clean, regrease and reinstall

- Wheels removed and trued in truing stand

- Cranks: cranks removed, cleaned, axle greased and reinstalled

- Bottom bracket: cleaned & greased

-Headset rebuild

$299 + parts:

The additional tasks completed in this level of service should be done every 12-18 months. More frequently if you ride in wet and gritty conditions as moisture ingress is likely causing some unseen wear and tear to your cranks and wheels 

All of Standard Service plus:

-Front and rear brakes bled, brake calipers and pistons cleaned

-Bike washed and polished with Muc Off products 

-Drivetrain degreased

-Wheels removed for true and tension in stand

-Tyre sealant top up and tyres reinflated to correct pressure

-Freehub clean and re-grease

-Gear/cable replacement- inner and outer cables replaced for smooth shifting

-Front and rear brake bleed

-Dropper post cable check and replace or lubricate as necessary.

• Tune gears – Perfectly adjust front and rear gears
• Gear inner cable replacement for smooth shifting and reliability
• Drivetrain degreased and re-lubricated – Remove nasty squeaks
• Front and rear brakes bled – Clean brake fluid to give perfect brake lever feel
• Brakes aligned – Eliminate unwanted drag on wheels or rotors
• Safety check – All bolts checked for correct tension
• Tyre sealant top-up and tyres reinflated to correct pressure
• Wheels trued – Wheels removed for true and tension in stand
• Straighten derailleur hanger
• Headset rebuild – Headset bearings removed, cleaned and re-greased
• Hubs serviced – Wheel bearings/axle cleaned, re-greased, re-assembled
• Cranks- Cranks removed, cleaned, axle greased, and reinstalled
• Bottom bracket – Removed, cleaned, greased, and reinstalled
• Dropper Post – Check dropper post cable - lubricate/replace as necessary
• Test ride

 $849 + parts: 

• Bike stripped to bare frame – Pivot bolts and linkages cleaned and re-greased on installation
• Bike wash and polish!
• Drivetrain clean – chain rings, cassette and chain removed and cleaned
• Headset rebuilt – Headset bearings removed, cleaned and re-greased
• Bottom bracket – Removed, cleaned and reinstalled
• Wheels trued – wheels removed for true and tension in stand
• Hubs serviced – Wheel bearings cleared, re-greased and tensioned for faster rolling
• Axles regreased
• Front and rear brakes bled – Clean brake fluid to give perfect brake lever feel
• Brakes aligned – Eliminate unwanted drag on wheels or rotors
• Fork serviced 
• Rear shock serviced 
• Gear/Brake replacement – inner and outer cables replaced for smooth shifting
• Tune Gears – Perfectly adjusted front and rear gears
• Straighten derailleur hanger
• Replace tire sealant front and rear
• Safety check – All bolts checked for correct tension
• Test ride.
