At Gravity we are known for our expert boot fitting. Whether it's grinding or stretching boot shells, altering liners or crafting you a custom insole, our boot fitters will ensure you have the best possible fit.
There are so many variables when it comes to a correctly fitting ski boot. Choosing a boot online based on colour, features or even reviews is almost never going to result in a comfortable days skiing.
See below how our boot fitting process works.
When it comes to choosing the right boot, there is more than just looking at the size of your foot. Our boot fitters will match your foot length, width, volume, ankle and calf to find a ski boot shell that correctly suits the morphology of your foot.
Once a boot has been selected, we will fine tune the fit of the boot through heat moulding the liners, modifying the shell where necessary and performing a cuff alignment. All of this is included in the boot fitting cost
Adding a footbed will increase both comfort and performance in any ski boot. A footbed will ensure your foot is aligned correctly in the ski boot and not cause unnecessary pressure points due to arch pronation, supination or other arch issues.
By taking a mold of your feet, we can make custom insoles to perfectly match and support the shape of your foot. Alternatively we offer generic insoles from SIDAS in 3 different arch heights. Custom insoles always provide the best fit.
Another important aspect to bootfitting is alignment. Keeping your knees tracking correctly is essental the get the best performance from your new boots.

We carry a range of leading brands including; Atomic, Salomon, Dalbello, Tecnica, Nordica, Lange, K2 and Roxa.
Booking an appointment with one of our boot fitters is the best way to ensure we can get you into a boot. By booking an appointment, we reserve a 90 minute time slot to sit down with you and go through the boot fitting process.
It's not necessary to bring your old boots with you to your boot fit as it won't alter what we think is the best fit for your feet from our range. However, there is no harm in bringing them, as it will give us an idea of what you are use to skiing in.
Absolutely! As long as they still match the shape of your arches and are in good condition and the same size, we can transfer them over to the new boot.
